This detached specialised building is to provide a cool room for wine processing and storage. Equipped with refrigeration plant in a super-insulated construction as used by the best commercial wineries. A further facility is provided in the basement under the main building where a more traditional approach is used with wooden barrels.
The main building houses both the wine tasting centre and a modest two-bedroom private accommodation area. This room is a cosy bar style area which comes into good use during bad weather. This supports the visiting parties who arrive as part of the wine road tourist activity.
Still in the main building, this heavy-wood themed public area provides a traditionally decorated and large capacity public area for tourist parties and local events. Much of the infrastructure is built from the huge timbers taken from the old wooden wine presses. Floors, tables, chairs and huge beams provide the right touch and ambience which matches perfectly the activities here. A wonderful place to spend some time.
Sitting above the public area (above image) is a further area for customer use. The wooden and heavy duty theme is continued throughout. The two areas are connected by a staircase constructed of similarly finished heavy timbers.
Completing the public areas is the shaded terrace which overlooks one of the vineyard plots.
Serving both the public and private areas is this commercial style kitchen.
The private accommodation area continues with the old style wooden decor. This area is separated off from the public areas although, if desired, can be used as a paid pansion/accommodation area.
Upper floor in the private area, currently used as a first bedroom.

Included in the sale is this very small detached building which is currently empty. The cold wine store can be seen behind it (blue roof).
